This steel mill, located in Sulphur Springs, Texas, is the first of five planned by the sponsors. This automated mill will produce 500,000 tons of construction Rebar Steel product and wire Steel products. The founders of this company owns an Asian Steel Conglomerate HQ\u2019d in Columbo, Sri Lanka which has expanded overseas to Ghana. The Mill will be a utilizing locally available Steel scrap metal, electric arc based green steel Project, with full decarbonization aiming for Net-zero emission (Green Steel). The sponsors have a long standing working relationship with a leading global steel distributor for the off-take. There is an executed MOU and contracts with City of Sulphur Springs for the industrial zoned land parcel, railway company for delivery of good, electric and other utility providers, Feedstock\/steel scrap supplier locally in US. Land is secured and fully permitted with completed building and machinery design work, engineering plans, etc. The factory construction budget will be $360 million USD. The steel industry standard valuation for similar sized modern rebar factories is valued at $1.25bn. The project will generate 1000+ direct and indirect jobs.<\/div>
