The Sponsor proposes to develop an ultra-modern agro-processing facility called the Smart Agro-Industrial Food Complex (SAIFCOM), which will integrate a cluster of interrelated enterprises focusing on circularity to produce a portfolio of 40+ competitively priced FMCG products targeting the communities at the underserved low-to-medium income earners, who constitute the biggest market of the Base of the socio-economic Pyramid (BoP Market). The concept is built around a sustainable, climate-smart, risk-mitigated business model integrated with ESG to deliver socio-economic and environmental impacts at scale while generating strong financial returns. The current development is to construct and operate a fully-fledged state-of-the-art maize and wheat flour milling facility. Among other key developments are Edible Oil Press and Refinery, TVP plant protein processing, Pasta/Noodles processing, Laundry Soap manufacturing and Livestock Feeds Manufacturing. The SAIFCOM industrial complex energy will be derived from a 25MWp solar farm + 100MW energy storage infrastructure. An AD-Biogas plant will also be constructed to provide bio-methane, which will be used as fuel for our green logistics. The project will be developed in a private Special Economic Zone (SEZ) offering favourable fiscal and administrative incentives, a liberalized foreign exchange regime and easy repatriation of capital and profits for our investors.
